Martín Prechtel is a Native American author, teacher, and cultural preservationist. Born in New Mexico with Pueblo Indian heritage, he lived in Guatemala as a member of the Tzutujil Mayan community, where he was trained in the traditional ways and became a spiritual leader. His work focuses on preserving indigenous wisdom and exploring the connections between language, ritual, and cultural vitality.
